  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.
  • mbuy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or engage in prohibited activity.

4. Seller Obligations

  • Sellers must provide accurate descriptions and original photographs of their items.
  • Misrepresentation, counterfeit goods, or fraudulent listings are strictly prohibited.
  • Sellers are responsible for ensuring that their listings comply with Maldivian and Malaysian laws, as well as any other applicable regulations.
  • Sellers must fulfill all agreed transactions in good faith.

5. Buyer Obligations

  • Buyers must review listings carefully and communicate with sellers before making a purchase.
  • Buyers are responsible for verifying item quality, authenticity, and condition before payment.
  • Buyers must not engage in fraudulent behavior or attempt to deceive sellers.

6. Payments and Transactions

  • mbuy does not handle payments, transfers, or deliveries. Buyers and sellers are responsible for completing transactions directly.
  • Users must exercise caution in payment arrangements and are encouraged to use safe methods such as cash on delivery.
  • mbuy is not responsible for disputes, losses, or damages arising from user-to-user transactions.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use mbuy for:

  • Selling illegal, restricted, or prohibited items.
  • Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content.
  • Engaging in scams, fraud, or abusive behavior.
  • Violating intellectual property rights or other legal regulations.

mbuy reserves the right to remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on mbuy (logo, design, text, graphics, etc.) is owned by or licensed to mbuy.
  • Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • mbuy provides the Platform on an “as-is” basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
  • mbuy is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of items listed by sellers.
  • mbuy is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Platform.

10. Indemnification

By using mbuy, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless mbuy, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of your use of the Platform, your listings, or your interactions with other users.

11. Termination of Use

  • mbuy reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or engages in unlawful or harmful activities.
  • Users may deactivate their accounts at any time by contacting mbuy administration.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Maldives.
  • For users located in Malaysia, compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) is required, and any disputes may also be subject to Malaysian jurisdiction where applicable.

13. Amendments

mbuy may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
